16.10 Module 11: What-If Analysis
- With Goal Seek, find the orders per day needed to break even in the Wakad model. Hint: Data › Forecast › What-If Analysis › Goal Seek; Set cell = Profit, To value 0 → about 507 orders/day.
- Create three scenarios (Normal, Ganeshotsav, Monsoon) and a summary report. Hint: Scenario Manager › Add › Summary.
- A one-variable data table of profit for AOV ₹300–₹450. Hint: What-If Analysis › Data Table › Column input cell = AOV cell.
- A two-variable data table: AOV × orders/day. Hint: formula in the top-left corner; Row and Column input cells.
- Use Solver to find the milk and fruit crates that maximise profit within the van capacity. Hint: File › Options › Add-ins › Solver Add-in; Data › Analyze › Solver → 35 milk + 25 fruit = ₹12,800.

Many students swap the Data Table input cells (a column's cell in the row input) and all the answers come out the same. If the values run down (a column), use the Column input cell; if they run across (a row), use the Row input cell. Check one or two answers manually.
