Q97. How do you create a dynamic title?

Write a measure that returns text (e.g. using SELECTEDVALUE or CONCATENATEX) and bind it via General › Title › Text › fx › Field value.

Q98. What are the three conditional formatting styles?

Gradient (colour scale between min and max), Rules (ranges mapped to colours), and Field value (a column or measure returns the colour name or hex code, e.g. a Delivery Time Colour measure).

Q99. Why can't I apply conditional colours to my bar chart?

Conditional colour for bars is not available when a field is in the Legend (or with multiple series). Remove the legend and use fx › Field value with a colour measure.

Q100. Field parameters vs the disconnected-table SWITCH method?

Field parameters are created in a dialog, keep each measure's format and can switch dimensions too. The disconnected table + SWITCH method gives full custom logic per option, but returns one measure with one format (use dynamic format strings).

Q101. How do you build a dynamic Top N?

Create a numeric-range what-if parameter for N and a measure that returns the value only when RANKX over ALLSELECTED items is ≤ N. Other items return BLANK and disappear from the visual.

Q102. When would you use a scatter chart, and what is the play axis?

To show the relationship between two measures for many items (e.g. Orders vs Avg Delivery Time per dark store). Size turns it into a bubble chart, and the play axis animates it over time (e.g. by month).

Q103. What does the Analytics pane offer?

Reference lines (constant, min, max, average, median, percentile), trend lines, forecasts (line charts with a continuous date axis and one measure), error bars and scatter-specific lines, depending on the visual.

Q104. Map vs filled map vs Azure map?

Map shows bubbles at locations sized by a measure; filled map shades areas by value; Azure map is the modern map with layers such as bubbles, heat maps and 3D columns. Microsoft is transitioning older Bing-based maps to Azure Maps.

Q105. How do you avoid wrong geocoding?

Set data categories (City, State or Province, Postal code), use a full location column such as "Pune, Maharashtra, India", or, best, use latitude and longitude for each location.

Q106. What is the difference between basic, advanced, Top N and relative date filters?

Basic ticks values; advanced uses conditions (contains, greater than, is blank) with And/Or; Top N keeps the top or bottom N items by a measure; relative date keeps dates in the last/this/next N days, weeks, months or years (rolling or calendar).

Q107. Slicer vs Filters pane?

Slicers are visible on the canvas, obvious to users and good for frequently changed choices. The Filters pane saves space, supports visual/page/report levels, Top N and measure filters, and filters can be locked or hidden.

Q108. What do Sync slicers and Edit interactions do?

Sync slicers make one slicer's selection apply to other pages (optionally visible or hidden there). Edit interactions controls whether selecting in one visual filters, highlights or does nothing to each other visual.

Q109. What is pinned to a dashboard and how do tiles behave?

Pinned visuals become tiles that keep the filters they had when pinned. Clicking a tile opens the source report. You can also pin live report pages, Q&A results, and add text, image, web and video tiles.

Q110. On which tiles can you set data alerts?

On dashboard tiles of type card, KPI and gauge. Alerts are evaluated when the data refreshes. Newer Fabric tenants also offer Set alert on report visuals via Activator.

Q111. How do you make a report phone-friendly?

Use View › Mobile layout in Desktop to arrange visuals on a phone canvas for each page, and Edit › Mobile layout for dashboards in the Service.
